WeatherMax uses the Open-Meteo API to fetch weather data. When you request weather information:
- Your location coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo servers
- Open-Meteo returns weather data for that location
- Open-Meteo is a free, open-source weather API

4.2 Windy.com (Radar Maps)
Weather radar maps are provided by Windy.com embedded widget. When viewing radar:
- Your approximate location is used to center the map
- Windy.com may collect usage analytics

- Preferences are stored on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data
- Weather data is fetched fresh and not permanently stored
- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data

- Change preferences: Modify settings at any time within the app
